Check out this new product from Heated Stone Products. They have an ultra thin heating element that is mounted under the countertop that will take the chill out of you natural stone with no visible wiring. The system will raise the surface temperature of the stone 20 to 25 degrees.
The low voltage heating system can be installed right into your stone slab. Heated countertops are perfect for the desk area in your kitchen, or in a nook area. Heated Stone Products can also make custom sizes and shapes. You can choose a temperature control, or – if you prefer – it can be operated with a programmer to schedule on and off times.
And if you already have stone counter tops, it’s not a problem. Heat pads can still be installed under your existing stone.
